My Pricing Philosophy

Pricing my services is an ongoing practice of balancing meeting my own resourcing needs with my commitment to being accessible in creative ways. My private session rates are now standardized using Vibe Caster’s Pricing Guide and reflect:

  • my training, certifications, lived experiences, and time

  • operational costs of running a single mother-owned practice in San Francisco, CA

  • market standards for comparable spiritual care and birth work

About My Booking & Sales Platform

I book all appointments through Interamnia, a platform built by a dynamic engineer and spiritual practitioner whose values align with the work I do. Choosing Interamnia is a conscious decision as I prioritize working with independent builders with integrity over defaulting to the most established or convenient option available.

Because Interamnia is an emerging platform helmed by one person, you may occasionally encounter a bug, delay, or moment where something doesn't work quite as expected. Birthing a post-colonial future means slowing down and extending grace to the people and projects doing things differently, so thank you for your patience should those moments arise.

Booking & Payment Policy

All services are paid in full at the time of booking unless a payment plan is available for your selected package. Payment confirms your appointment and your agreement to the terms outlined here.

Clients are responsible for booking and managing their own accounts through Interamnia. If you experience any technical issues, please contact me at siobhan@motherofpearl.online.

As an on-call birth doula, all appointments are subject to rescheduling in the event a client goes into labor. This is uncommon but inherent to birth work, and I appreciate your understanding.

There is no cancellation fee. I trust that sessions happen when they're most aligned. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so using the link in your booking confirmation email at least 24 hours before your appointment, unless we have made other arrangements. Clients are responsible for initiating their own rescheduling.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

There is no cancellation or rescheduling fee for either party, up to 2 hours before our scheduled meeting time. I trust that sessions happen when they're most aligned.

Clients are responsible for initiating rescheduling through their Interamnia account or the link in their booking confirmation, unless we have made other arrangements.

No-shows may choose between forfeiting the session or paying a $55 rescheduling fee, which accounts for any preparation time lost on my end.

Payment Methods

I accept payment via Stripe through Interamnia at checkout. I also accept Zelle and Venmo — to arrange an alternative payment method, email siobhan@motherofpearl.online with the service you'd like to book and I will follow up with next steps.

Payment plans paid via Zelle or Venmo require a signed payment plan agreement prior to your first session. This contract outlines the full payment schedule and the terms for missed or failed payments. Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of your signed agreement and first payment.

Refund Policy

All sales are final. Due to the nature of this work and the container it holds, refunds are not offered under any circumstance, including scheduling conflicts, changes in personal circumstances, or dissatisfaction with outcomes. Sessions may be rescheduled but not refunded, and there are no refunds for services already rendered.

I believe my work is co-creative and find those who follow through with their integration plans tend to receive the most meaningful results.
